The Kelp Forest Alliance
The Kelp Forest Alliance is the world's only global kelp NGO and is leading a movement to protect and restore kelp forests across our seas. The Alliance brings together data, people and passion to champion the Kelp Forest Challenge, a goal to protect and restore 4 million hectares of kelp forests by 2040. We provide an interactive platform for experts worldwide to share restoration data, build connections, collaborate on projects, and promote these often forgotten ecosystems. With a network of 600 people across 27 countries, we are growing quickly.
